Double-Blind PDF Print E-mail

Double-Blind is a method of experimenting whereby neither the experimenter nor the individuals are aware of who is in the which group, the experimental or the control group. Only after all the data has been recorded do the researchers become aware of the groups. This is done in an attempt to eliminate subjective bias on the part of the experimenter and the individuals and one is thereby able to achieve a higher standard of scientific rigor.
