Echinacea is a perennial herb that is native to North America. It is also known as Black Samson, Black Susan, Comb Flower, Hedgehog, Indian Head, Kansas Snakeroot, Missouri Snakeroot, Purple Coneflower, Rudbeckia or Scurvy Root. Echinacea is part of the Composite family and the parts of the plant that are used are the roots, leaves and rhizomes.
